I have had a couple of closings that a REALTOR ADMINISTRATION FEE showed up on the HUD.  The amount was $350.00 and it was paid by the borrower or seller.  My underwriters go bezerk over this fee in that they say the Realtor Commission is supposed to cover all Realtor fees.  In asking, the Realtor got a separate agreement signed for this fee and it covered specific activities not covered under the Realtor Commission.  Anyone care to comment on this fee?  Unless I have the separate agreement for a separate fee my underwriters will not allow the fee.  Comments or Suggestions on how to handle in the future if this is something that is changing with Realtor fees?

How to order a appraisal is changing.  Fannie Mae has a link for comments on their proposed changes.  My question, if Fannie and Freddie has problems LENDER ordered appraisals, then why with this proposed change, do the LENDERS still get to order appraisals, why are brokers being singled out again, when in these cases the BANK ordered their own and brokers were not even in the picture???
